Venedig XII

It's definitely time for some new pictures from my Venice trip last summer. Today I show you some pictures of one of the most known views of this amazing city. The view of the Ponte dell'Accademia is a bridge were you have a fantastic view to the Grand Canal with some nice buildings behind. Some churches, hotels and many boats on the canal. Here are always many people and make selfies or pictures like I do.
The flair on this place is as you think it has to be, if you have Venice in your mind. At least at good weather. Another point which is important to talk about is that there are so many cheerfully people. This is not a matter of course in every city, so this is another reason why I'm like this city so much.

Today I'm going to show you some pictures about details. Some nice door knockers, picture or sculptures on the walls. If you take time, you will find on every house some nice details. It is a nice variety between the narrow alleys and the imposant buildings. If I think about Venice, I would go for a second time immediately. At least in summer and without Corona disease.

However much more worst than COVID-19 are the media. They play with the fear, so the spread of the fear are faster than the disease. This week there were no toilet paper and ready to eat meals in our supermarkets. This is really crazy I think. What the people expect? COVID-19 is not the zombie-apocalypse and because of just few hundred infected people the economy doesn't collapse. Yes it's definitely more than a cold and could be seriously for a group of persons, but the most of the people will not notice that they are ill at all. This is the bad thing on Corona. Just some people get serious conditions while the majority spread the virus without recognition the infection. This is a bad situation but more for the health system as for the people. So the tactic of the healthcare is win time for mainly two reasons. Firstly to protract the spreading in the hope that warmer temperatures will slow down the spread. Secondly to prevent the health care system for a massive outbreak at one time. In my opinion our policy to deal with the Virus is not as bad as many people think. If you are interested in this case I can recommend the Podcast from the NDR with Prof. Dr. Christian Drosten.
