Rural Museum Rhineland-Palatinate II

 

We will go on in our rural museum tour. The  pictures I'm going to show you are from an small village inside the museum.  There were different shops, farms and other buildings. From my point of view was the highlight a house which was used as a museum for old puppets. There were many puppet houses with amazing details and very tiny toys. There were also some rooms with different puppets from various decades. This was more like a chamber of horror. It's amazing how ugly and frightening puppets can be from former times. I understand now few horror movies which has puppets as actors. Take a look at the pictures and built you own impression. When I saw the puppets I thought that every girl at the time got mental health problems. Really scary especially in rooms with many puppets. You have always the feeling that somebody is watching you. really crazy but on the other side important to see, because so we can see how good things developed. 

Other great things was the interior from the different buildings or the water mill which was still in use for making flour. I will also mention the good restaurant which sell food that was farmed in the museum. Other things were a cow's pasture and other farm buildings with a bettle in a barn.
