Church Schönenberg

In June I was in Ellwangen. I nice little town with a 

lot of interesting architecture. 

On a hill next to Ellwangen is the castle.

On this castle I shot this two pictures from the church Schönenberg.

I saw the church and I searched for a nice location to make pictures.

At one day I visited the castle to make pictures from the castle and from Ellwangen,

because from the castle you have a wonderful view into the city.

I stayed on the parking area and saw the church with this field in front and the dramatic sky.

So I decided to make first pictures from the church. 

It was a good idea, because it began to rain after these pictures. I still stand on the parking area

so I had a short way to my car.

The first picture is a HDR built with a exposure series of three pictures.

I love here the soft colors in the field and the soft blur because the wind was stormy.

A good contrast to the soft field is the dramatic sky with this wonderful clouds and the farsightedness.

The second picture is a long exposure with about 66 seconds exposure time.

I shot this with my ND-filter and the effect is wonderful.

Especially the field is wonderful. The blur is really fantastic.

Im Juni war ich in Ellwangen. 

Eine schöne kleine Stadt mit einer Menge verschiedener

und interessanter Architektur. Auf einem Hügel neben der Stadt ist zum Beispiel 

das Schloss Ellwangen, gleich auf einem Hügel daneben die Schönenbergkirche.

Ich wollte an diesem Tag eigentlich das Schloss fotografieren und vor allem das Panorama

welches man über die Stadt hat. Da ich aber diese schöne Sicht auf die Kirche hatte,

habe ich kurzerhand ein paar Bilder davon gemacht.

Und das war die richtige Entscheidung. Kurz nachdem ich diese Bilder gemacht hatte,

hat es richtig angefangen zu regnen. Da ich noch direkt am Parkplatz stand war ich schnell im Auto.

Glück gehabt.

Das erste Bild ist ein HDR aus drei verschieden belichteten Bildern. 

Mir gefällt hier der Kontrast von der Unschärfe im Feld zu den dramatischen Wolken besonders gut.

Aber auch die Weitsicht und die Kirche wie sie zwischen den schön strukturierten Wolken steht hat was.

Das zweite Bild ist vom gleichen Standpunkt gemacht aber 

mit einem Neutraldichtefilter. Somit konnte ich 66 Sekunden belichten und die für diese

Art von Bildern typische Verwischung der Wolken bekommen.

Aber auch der Effekt im Feld ist hier wunderbar, es sieht aus wie gemalt.
