Post Apocalypse Fiction

Wie manche schon wissen bin ich ja ein Sciencefiction Fan.

Mir gefällt alles, von einer Space Opera wie Star Wars, bis hin zu

düsteren Zukunftsvisionen. Ich mag den Gedanken vom Ende der Menschheit.

Was passiert mit der Erde, verschlingt sie die Spuren der Zivilisation einfach?

Es gibt ja momentan einen Zombie Hype, welchen ich aber nicht wirklich teile.

Ich bin eher ein Freund der menschlichen Probleme. Werden wir selber Schuld sein

an unserem Ende, ganz wie in Tschernobyl, oder wird uns die Natur die Grenzen aufzeigen

wie bereits in Fukushima geschehen. Werden wir uns in den Abgrund Bomben

oder werden wir still und heimlich langsam verschwinden?

Es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten, alle sind guter Stoff für spannende Geschichten.

Vielleicht schreib ich ja mal ein Buch, wer weiß.

Aber meine Leidenschaft liegt vorerst in der Fotografie und auch da 

kann man versuchen mit Bildern spannende Geschichten zu erzählen.
Dazu habe ich mal ein eigenes Album angelegt, denke da kommen noch einige Fotos.

Ich orientiere mich da sehr an Geschichten, mein Favorit ist unter anderem 

das Buch "Picknick am Wegesrand" oder "Metro 2033".

Ja irgendwie finde ich den subtilen russischen Sciencefiction besser als den

pompösen amerikanischen Stil. Kann das aber nicht verallgemeinern. 

Wenn mich eine Geschichte interessiert, inspiriert sie mich im selben Atemzug.

Gerade im Bezug auf die Post Apokalypse kann man sich auch leicht ohne Filme und 

Geschichten inspirieren, man muss einfach nur die Menschen beobachten. 

Was wäre wenn alles einmal zusammenbrechen würde, die Infrastruktur aufhört zu funktionieren.

Ohne Strom, Wasser aus dem Hahn, Lebensmittel aus dem Laden, Krankenversorgung 

und und und...

Der Mensch würde sich seiner Instinkte bedienen und um sein Überleben kämpfen.

Man würde zurückfallen in alte Muster. Ein Überlebenskampf um Nahrung und Grundbedürfnisse.

Bei den Fotos hier wollte ich eine beklemmende Stimmung erzeugen.
Gerade die Bilder mit der Puppe sind da wirklich gut geeignet.
Man fragt sich was mit dem Kind geschehen ist, was mit der Puppe gespielt hat.
Wer ist der Mann? Der Vater von dem Kind?
Vielleicht auch einer der letzten Überlebenden auf der Suche nach Nahrung.
Dabei hat er die Puppe gefunden und erinnert sich an früher...
Wer weiß?

 You know, I'm a big fan of science fiction.
I like things like Star Wars and bleak future visions.
I love to think about the future. What will happen with the human species?
What will happen with the earth, does she swallows the tracks of the civilisation?
Now there exist a really zombie hype, but I'm not really a friend of zombie tales.
I'm a friend of human problems. Are we blame yourself at our end,
like the meltdown in Chernobyl. Or will it be the nature who brings the apocalypse,
like Fukushima. Will we be fight against ourselves with a lot of weapons and bombs.
Or will we go slowly and quiet. There are many ways to disappear.
All of this are great stuff for fantastic stories.
Perhaps I will write a book, who knows.
But at this moment I will tell stories with my pictures.
This is the reason to create a "post apocalyptic fiction" album.
I want to tell more stories.
I'm inspired by some science fiction books and movies.
But I like the russia way more than the US way of science fiction.
Books like "Metro2033" or "Roadside Picnic" are a great way to get inspired.
 Roadside Picnic are the basis of the great movie "Stalker".
But you don't need books and movies for inspiration.
 It will help to go with opened eyes through the world.
What will happened if the normal life collapsed.
No infrastructure means no electricity, no clean water, no food ....
I think the humans will be fall back into old instincts.
The fight for food and water will be the central things in life.

With the pictures from the mask I will create a oppressive atmosphere.
I think the pictures with the mask and the puppets are great to tell stories.
Also the pictures with the man. Who is he?
The father of the child who owns the puppet? Who knows?
Perhaps the last survivor in his search for food.
He found the puppet and falls into thoughts of the past.
